Ajay Anand, CFP® is President and CEO of Anand Financial Advisors, where he works with families and closely-held business owners to help create generational wealth. Ajay emphasizes taking advantage of tax-efficient strategies, accumulating and preserving wealth, and passing wealth to heirs in the most efficient manner.
Ajay was raised in a small Florida town, where his family owned and operated a Ramada Limited. Together, they managed all aspects of the business (front desk, laundry, housekeeping, maintenance). Ajay and his brother worked hard each weekend, waking up early to make as many as 60 beds a day. This experience molded a hard-work ethic, discipline, and life-long motivation to create a better life, and make life better for others.
After earning a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Georgia State University, Ajay started his career as an Investment Analyst with Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting in 2009. He quickly rose through the ranks to become an Investment Consultant working on institutional retirement plans, endowments, and foundations totaling $20 billion in assets.
As a Consultant who worked primarily with retirement plans, Ajay saw first-hand the need for financial education and fine-tuned financial planning. This developed into a newfound passion for passing his expertise on to families and business owners who will benefit most from the skills he acquired as an experienced Investment Consultant.
In 2016, he decided to take his institutional experience and use it as an Independent Financial Advisor, helping families and closely-held business owners achieve financial freedom and peace of mind that they can pass on for generations.
Ajay resides in Atlanta, GA, with his wife, Payal, and their two sons, Aarav and Riaan. He enjoys spending quality time with his family, playing volleyball, and golfing.
